The Hartman Group, consists of The Hartman Agency, Inc., Hartman Employee Benefits, Inc., and Hartman Financial Services operating out of offices in Williamsport, State College, and Duncannon. Hartman operates commercial employee benefit, commercial property and casualty, financial services, and personal lines divisions. Our employee benefit division includes a wholesale health brokerage operation.
The Hartman Group was founded in 1932 and each partner has extensive experience and a commitment to industry education.
We are also the largest broker in the Central PA region.

Michael P. Gaetano
Mike Gaetano is the President of The Hartman Agency, Inc. Before joining the group in 1988, Mike worked as a bond underwriter with Aetna. He specializes in contractor’s insurance and surety bonding.
Mike graduated from the University of Scranton in 1981 with a dual major - Marketing and Business Management.

Craig S. Miller
Craig Miller is the founder and president of Hartman Employee Benefits, Inc. Before founding the benefit division in 1996, Craig worked with Glaxo Pharmaceuticals as a regional sales manager.
As president of HEB, Craig is responsible for the following:
- Overseeing the operations at Hartman Employee Benefits, Inc.
- Recruiting, training and supporting Hartman’s “downstream” brokers
- Management of present carrier relationships
- Assessment of new potential carrier relationships
- Consulting for “key” accounts
Craig graduated from Slippery Rock University with a B.S. in Education.

Donald E. Gaetano
Don Gaetano is vice-president of operations of The Hartman Agency, Inc. and Hartman Employee Benefits, Inc. Before joining the group in 1998, Don worked for thirteen years with PMA Insurance Group in claims, underwriting, sales and senior management. He specializes in the following four areas:
- Design and administration of large account property and casualty programs
- Design and administration of large account employee benefit programs
- Development of group programs
- Design and management of captive insurance programs
Don graduated from Wilkes University with a dual major - English and Public Administration.

Jens graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Economics and Business Administration.
